A range of activities can be provided for non-shooting guests, these include skiing, wine tasting, shopping trips, hiking in the beautiful hills and cultural trips to castles and museums.

Please ensure you comply with the airline regulations for taking your gun to Eastern Europe. These rules include carrying your firearm in a locked case. It is unnecessary to bring ammunition but if you do, please keep it separate.

Do not forget your European Gun permit or Local Country permit and Invitation Letter (both provided by our team) if you are coming from the USA. You will not be allowed to bring your gun into Europe without these items and a UK license is not sufficient.

For guests with a UK Shotgun License a European permit is readily available from the same place you acquired your UK permit. All that is needed is to send back the permit to the original authorities with a request to swap to a European version. Turnaround time is generally 2 or 3 days. We arrange firearm and hunting permits for our American guests and courier them direct to the States prior to coming to Slovakia

You will also need a letter of invitation from the Estate, which will be provided before you leave.

Airport transfers can be arranged for you by the Shooting in Europe team. Please contact the office for further details.

The Czech estates comply with traditional summer release practices, similar to those used in the United Kingdom. The majority of the Slovakian and Hungarian estates combine summer releases with on-going case release systems similar to those used in France and Spain. For details of the estate you wish to visit please contact Shooting in Europe. For additional information, please ask for references and read our testimonials that relate to the quality of the birds on offer.
